Laser Hair Removal

Both men and women seek laser hair removal services to have unwanted
hair removed. Hair removal is commonly done on lip, chin, ear lobe,
shoulders, back, underarm, abdomen, buttocks, pubic area, bikini lines,
thighs, face, neck, chest, arms, legs, hands, and toes.

How laser hair removal works?

Laser hair removal is the use of laser energy to produce long-term hair
reduction. The energy of the laser is absorbed by the pigment in the hair
that is why lasers work best on dark hairs.

How many treatments?

Normally, a series of five treatments are administered at four week
intervals depending upon the location of the hair.

How should I prepare for treatment?

You should shave the area to be treated one to three days before
treatment.  Do Not wax or remove hair with the root for four to six weeks
before and throughout the course of treatment as hair needs to be in
place to be targeted by laser. The area should be shaved as closely as
possible so that laser can target the most energy towards the hair follicle
and not waste energy on the part of the hair above the skin’s surface. If
your hair is the type that you can’t see where it was right after you shave,
make it a bit easier on your tech not to miss the spots you want treated
by shaving one to three days before so the outline of where hair is
growing is just VERY slightly visible.

What should I expect after treatment?

After treatment is completed (underarms take under ten minutes, back
treatment can take 1 hour or so), you can apply aloe vera to soothe the
skin if needed. Within two to three and a half weeks, you should
experience shedding of all treated hair. At first, hair will look like it’s
growing back in, but it is just shedding. Shedding starts at about one and
a half weeks and can last until three and a half weeks post-treatment.
Exfoliating and/or scrubbing gently in the shower with a loofah can help
speed up the process. After shedding finishes, you might notice little
black dots in the skin. These are commonly referred to as “pepperspots”
and will shed eventually, but might take a bit longer. Exfoliate to help
those out as well.

After shedding occurs, you should experience a hair-free period for a few
weeks, until the next set of hair that was dormant before starts to come
in. Treatments are spaced four to six weeks apart.  A 20% reduction can
be expected with each treatment.  Five treatments are usually necessary
to achieve optimal results.

Photo Rejuvenation

Rejuvenate your skin to restore that youthful appearance by eliminating;
Age spots,
Redness and flushing,
Freckles,
Brown spots,
Birth marks,
Port wine stains,
Enlarged pores,
and Hyperpigmentation.
All of this with virtually no down time.

How long does it take for laser photo rejuvenation treatments to work?

Most people need a 1-3 treatments about 1 month apart.  You can see some
Improvement with each treatment, but it's common for your response to be
slightly different to each treatment. The more sun damage or
redness you have, the more likely you are to need three treatments.
Expect to see gradual clearing over time.

What will I look like right after the treatment, and what is the healing time?

For veins, generally, the skin looks slightly redder after the
treatment for two to five days. Makeup can be used starting right
after the treatment, as long as it is applied and removed very
gently. Rarely, there is bruising, which can take 1-2 weeks to
resolve.

For freckles and age spots, the spots generally look darker for 3-7
days. Crusting can occur, which may last up to ten days. The
lesions will then begin to clear and will generally be resolving at
one month.

How long will the results last?

The depends on how much sun exposure your skin gets after your
laser treatments.  If you are in the sun a lot and do not use
sunscreen, the underlying issues, whether they are redness or
brown spots, will return.  But if you take good care of your skin
and keep it protected from the sun, your skin will continue to
look good.

Protect your improved skin with sunscreen every morning. Hats
and sunglasses are also good protection from the sun.

Laser Vein & Redness Removal

What Is Laser Vein Treatment?

Laser therapy can be very effective in treating unsightly broken and
dilated vessels as well as other unwanted vascular lesions, such as
spider veins, Rosacea, port wine stains and other vascular
birthmarks. In fact, the latest advances in laser technology have
made it safer, faster, and more effective than any previous treatment
for these conditions.

How Does Laser Vein Treatment Work?

Lasers work by emitting a specialized light that is passed through
the skin and preferentially absorbed by its target, be it an unwanted
hair, birthmark, tattoo, or the hemoglobin (the red portion of blood)
in the unwanted vessels. The laser causes the vein to break up and
disappear.

How Soon Will I See Results?

Because laser vein treatment works by causing the unwanted vein
to break up and dissolve, resolution of the unwanted vein will take
place over the course of several weeks to months.

Tattoo Removal

We suggest a consultation to set up your personalized treatment plan.

How does laser tattoo removal work?

Laser energy is directed at the tattooed area for a fraction of a second,
passing harmlessly through the outer layer of the skin and targeting the
tattoo ink directly. The laser disrupts the ink, allowing your body to
absorb it and break it down naturally.

The process is not immediate. After the treatment, the ink that was
exposed to the laser will break down and be removed by your body's
immune system over a period of weeks. Once that process is complete,
you can come in for your next visit, repeating the process until the tattoo
is gone. Most tattoos average 5 to 15 treatments for full removal. Some
ink colors are harder to target and require more sessions. Because it is
your body that actually breaks down the ink, every person's removal
process will be different.

Can My Tattoo Be Removed?

Every tattoo is different, so no service available today can guarantee
100% success or zero skin discoloration but all tattoos can be at least
significantly reduced.

Lighter skin tones have a higher success rate. Most tattoos are
significantly reduced in appearance after the first session. Black, red,
dark orange and dark blue tattoos will usually respond relatively quickly
to treatments. Green, purple, brown, light orange and light blue colors
may require more visits.

$25 deposit required for Laser Tattoo Removal Consultations, will be applied to and Tattoo
removal performed within 2 months.

SkinTyte Laser

This treatment will leave your skin firmer, more supple, and it can be provided
quickly with no downtime.  The end result is a more youthful appearance

Watch Skintyte on the CBS show The Dr's. Click Here.

How does SkinTyte work?

The SkinTyte procedure utilizes a broadband of light energy to deeply heat dermal collagen.
This process promotes partial deterioration and contraction of collagen. The heat also initiates the
body’s natural healing process which creates a renewed collagen foundation leading to increased
skin firmness. Powerful cooling maintains the outer surface of your skin at a cool temperature
before, during, and after each pulse providing the patient a comfortable and safe procedure.

What should I expect after treatment?

You may experience some mild redness in the treated area immediately after and this should
return to normal within minutes. Since the SkinTyte procedure is non-invasive there is no
downtime so you can resume regular activities immediately following treatment. You can also
apply makeup and sunscreen after each session.

What results should I expect?

The SkinTyte procedure is recommended for patients who desire moderate, noticeable
skin improvement without having to undergo surgery. Full results often take up to four months as
the collagen foundation of your skin is rebuilt and strengthened.

What areas can be treated?

SkinTyte treatments are safe for all skin types and can be performed on any area of the body
where an improvement in your skin firmness is desired. Popular areas include the face, neck,
abdomen, and arms.

How many treatments will I need?

A series of 5 treatments spaced a month apart is typical of most patients. Our staff will
personalize a treatment plan based on the level of improvement you desire. You may also
combine SkinTyte with other popular aesthetic procedures to further personalize your
treatment.

What aftercare do I need?

No special skincare regimen is required following treatment. However, you should always protect
your skin from direct sun exposure and use a good sunscreen.

Resurfacing

We suggest a consultation to set up your personalized treatment plan.

Laser resurfacing to improve cosmetic flaws, such as wrinkles, acne scars, and aging and sun-damaged skin, is the latest scientific breakthrough in skin rejuvenation.

Using a wand-like laser handpiece, undesired skin cells and wrinkles literally disappear in a puff of mist and are replaced by fresh skin cells. One of the laser's most significant advantages over traditional techniques for skin resurfacing is that treatment is relatively bloodless. The procedure also offers more control in the depth of penetration of the skin's surface, allowing an increased degree of precision and safety in treating delicate areas.
